This time, the Dr Sun Yi Xian's Youth Foundation has hired English football coaches to train teachers in Shanghai University and primary and secondary schools. He said that the training course was held in Guangdong for the first time, and the response was good. This time the training course will be held in Shanghai. In the next step, he hopes to open a football training course in Taichung to train more elementary and middle school football teachers and further promote football culture. To the next generation.

Mr Nelson Cheng pointed out that major football countries have mature football management, marketing, and management systems. Compared with the Mainland China, Taiwan has a relatively free business environment and is more able to accept football management experience transplanted from abroad. If they develop at the same time, Taiwan football will make better progress than the mainland. 

However, he also said that Taiwan's population is small and the football market is not large enough, and it is difficult to maximize the benefits of development. If the two sides of the strait can cooperate in football, with Taiwan’s internationalization and liberalization, coupled with the Mainland China’s population and market, there will be great prospects for cross-strait football cooperation.

The Dr Sun Yi Xian's Youth Foundation was established in the UK in 2003 to promote sports exchanges between the two sides of the strait.
